Changing Your Email Address

You have a sign-in email address and a contact email address with Via Benefits. Your sign-in email address acts as your username when you sign into Via Benefits. We use your contact email address to send you information about such things as your enrollment or reimbursement account. Changing your sign-in email address doesn't change the email address we use to contact you. Your contact email address can be the same as or different from your sign-in email address.

Changing Your Sign-In Email Address

To change your sign-in email address, complete the following steps:

1. Sign into Via Benefits.

2. Select Sign-In Settings from the drop-down list under your name.

 

3. Select Change your sign in email.

4. Enter your Password and select Next.

 

5. You'll be prompted to select Text Me or Call Me to complete the verification process.

  • If you select Text Me, a code will be sent to your mobile phone to enter on your computer or mobile device.

  • If you select Call Me, you'll receive a phone call, follow the prompt to proceed. Skip to step 7.

6. If you selected Text Me, enter the code on your computer or mobile device and select Next

 

7. Enter your new email address and select Next. A Via Benefits verification code is sent to your new email address.

8. Enter the code on your computer or mobile device.

9. A confirmation that your email was changed will be displayed. Select Submit to go to your Home page.

10. To help prevent fraud, an email is sent to your old email address advising your email has been changed. If you didn't change your email address, please contact us.

 

Changing Your Contact Email Address

By providing your contact email address, you agree that we can communicate with you at your listed email address. Make sure this information is always current.

To change your contact email address, complete the following steps:

1. Sign into Via Benefits.

2. Select Go to Profile on the Home page.

3. Select the icon of the person whose email address you wish to change.

4. On the Personal Information tab, scroll to the Contact Information section of the page and enter your new Contact Email Address. Select Save.

Note: We recommend also adding a Contact Phone if you haven't already. This helps ensure Via Benefits can contact you with important information regarding your coverage.

Your contact email address is now updated.
