Changing Your Password

Follow the instructions on this page if you know your password and would like to change it. If you have forgotten your password and need to reset it, read Resetting Your Password.

1. Sign into Via Benefits.

2. Select Sign-In Settings from the drop-down list under your name.

3. Select Change your password.

4. You're sent an email from Via Benefits that provides a code to verify your email address.

Note: You're required to go through a two-step process that provides an added layer of security for your personal information. This involves verifying you email address and phone number. If you would like further information, read Additional Security Steps

5. Once you receive the code, enter it in the Enter code field on the website and select Next.

Note: If you don't receive the code, there’s information about getting the code on this page.

 

6. Select Text Me or Call Me.

  • If you select Text Me, a code will be sent to your mobile phone to enter on your computer or mobile device.

  • If you select Call Me, you'll receive a phone call and follow the prompt.

Note: If you provided two phone numbers, select the one you want to use. Call us if you don't have access to either one of the phone numbers.

 

Enter code for Text Me.

 

7. Create and confirm a new password following the password requirements. Select Next.

You're now signed in and your password has been changed! Be sure to use your new password the next time you visit the website.
